Classical physics analogues of Stimulated Raman Adiabatic Passage (STIRAP)

STIRAP technique is a very powerful tool for coherent control of quantum systems. We present a variety of classical analogues of these technique adapted for Lorentz force, polarization optics and wireless energy transfer. These analogues originate from the mathematical equivalence between the Schrödinger equation and the differential equations that describe classical systems. The analogues offer control tools, which are more effective, robust and reliable compared with the already established.
